 <![CDATA[At 18:24 Hours Kent Box 40-2 was struck for a reported working house fire on Kennedyville Rd bring Kent station-4,6,5,3 and Rescue/Engine-7 and Engine/Tanker-7. Chief-4 AOL with a 3 story SFD with heavy smoke showing. Crew from Engine-4 advanced a line and knocked the bulk of the fire Tower-6 set-up and vented while the crews&nbsp; from ET-7 and RE-7 assisted with fire attack and overhaul. Engine/Tanker-7 AOL to find Millington units and Clayton units working with fire showing from a old farm house. ET-7 supplied Tanker-2 while the crew went to work in the home with crew from&nbsp;Clayton interior crew&nbsp;made a aggressive attack and controlled the fire with in 20 Min's.  <![CDATA[Member started to gather at the station for Hurricane preparations, Checking equipment and running tools topping of fuel. calls started to come in around 9PM keeping the 16 Volunteers who's staffed the station very busy running trees down, wires down and other storm related calls. Crews Rescued a female pt from here home and it was filling with water and she was unable to escape. Crews utilized a&nbsp; Zodiac from Inflatable Marine Services out of West Chester Pa we would to thank them for&nbsp;the use of this boat is came in very handy it was designated as Zodiac-7.  <![CDATA[The Officers and Members of The Crumpton Fire Department would like to brief the general public who reside in our first due fire protection area of the impending arrival of Hurricane Irene.&nbsp; As of 1800 hours on Thursday 08/25/11, Queen Anne's County is now under a Tropical Storm Watch that is expected to be upgraded to a Hurricane watch prior to Saturday.&nbsp; The current projected path takes the eye of the storm over the Ocean City, Maryland area which is now under a mandatory evacuation&nbsp; and a partial evacuation of the City of Salisbury.&nbsp; Queen Anne's County is expected to receive anywhere from 6&amp;quot; to 12&amp;quot; of rain, a 2' - 5' tidal surge and wind in excess of 80mph from a period starting sometime Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.&nbsp; Several schools will be open as temporary shelters and the County's Emergency Operations Center will be coordinating all emergency activities.&nbsp; The following can be used to gather information; WCEI 96.7 FM, WNAV 1430 AM, WCTR 1530AM and Atlantic Broadband regarding evacuations and sheltering.&nbsp; Queen Anne's County Department of Emergency Services and the local Fire &amp;amp; EMS Departments are urging members of the public who reside in low lying areas or areas that are prone to flooding, access problems due to flooding to evacuate those areas prior to the storm's arrival.&nbsp; Any questions, please call your local fire station, the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Department or the Department of Emergency Service's. Our Station will be Staffed by Volunteers throughout this Hurricane Event to provide any assistance needed and will also be open to the public.&nbsp; If you have an EMERGENCY please call 911.
